My story
He taught me to receive His love rather than achieve it.
I grew up in a Christian household full of faith, but I wrestled with anxiety, the approval of man, performance, and the fear of the future. When my uncle challenged me to get in the Word for 100 days in a row, I read Isaiah 6 and felt the full weight of my sin for the first time. That night, chains broke off of me. I recommitted my life to Christ and got baptized.
The Lord then called me to UNC to play Division I soccer. Even while leading in ministry, I ran dry, until He took me to John 15 and taught me to rest, be interruptible, and abide.
In December 2024, every area of my life felt out of control, and I heard the Lord whisper, “Let Me love you.” For the first time, I let Him love me and father me.
Around that time, the Lord gave my brother Austin Alexander and me the same vision separately: living rooms and gatherings centered around Acts 2:42, from campus to campus and city to city. He spoke over it with the words “Brick x Brick.”
Today, He has called me to Nashville to build on Belmont University’s campus, gathering the hungry, discipling athletes, and equipping leaders across campuses, cities, and nations.
Lord, here I am. Send me.
